A bald eagle lands too close to another and gets bitten at Homer, Alaska. A bald eagle's beak is sharp. Its talons are even sharper. The talons are used for killing prey. When parents are in the nest with young they move around with their talons closed, fist-like, to avoid injuring/killing their young.
