Bald Eagles, Homer, Alaska

Bald Eagles, Homer, Alaska

Three bald eagles share a driftwood tree limb on the beach at Homer, Alaska. Females are not only larger than males, but their beaks are deeper/taller from top to bottom. Given its body size and beak size, the bird on the right would appear to be a female. Bald eagles pair for life.
